What’s the difference between AlbumWorks and the original desktop software Fundy Designer?

HOW does IT work?

AlbumWorks is insanely simple and fast to work with.

  1. Visit QT’s special AlbumWorks portal and login with Facebook or Google (you will need to have a FB or Google account).

  2. Click NEW ALBUM (or return to work on a previously saved design)

  3. Upload your images and then select design settings:

    1. Album name (only for your records)

    2. Album Line (AriaBook, ArtBook, etc)

    3. Size (inches) - Hint: you can design 12x12” to order sizes like 10x10", 8x8” etc. We will manage the resize upon printing as long as the proportions are the same.

    4. Auto Design (optional) by Name or Date

    5. # of Pages (not spreads) - 20 pages = 10 spreads, 30 pages = 15 spreads etc.

      If you want to add or delete pages, you can do that later on in the designer window. Just move your cursor to the area between spreads and the “add spread” button (plus sign) will appear.

      For the most beautiful look, we recommend 3-5 images per spread.

    6. Design Constraints (choose which layouts you are served)

      1. All Designs

      2. Exclude designs that cross center line - select this option for PrimaBooks.

  4. When you are happy with the design - EXPORT it (small icon in the top-right corner) and download the spreads to your hard drive.

  5. >>CHECK YOUR DESIGN<< closely in 100% magnification to verify against design errors.

  6. Go to QTAlbums and select your product order form. Select the correct number of spreads/files and click the orange button to UPLOAD FILES.

  7. Upload files, check file sequence and example trim lines. Then continue with your album configuration (cover, paper etc).

  8. Place your order. Done :)

Terms and conditions

  1. AlbumWorks software is available via a special portal for all QTAlbums customers FREE OF CHARGE with unlimited designs and 3500 image storage under license from Fundy Software. Simply put, QTAlbums will cover your annual subscription fee of $100.

  2. The QT-AlbumWorks special-access software is to be used to make designs for album orders from QTAlbums ONLY. Using QT-AlbumWorks to design and purchase products from any other vendor is prohibited and will void the $100 annual discount.

  3. Album Works is considered a beta software at this time. Some bugs may present themselves and we require you to check every downloaded album design closely at magnification to make sure there are no artefacts or album design errors. We will proceed with your order assuming that your files are error free.

Please notice that you need to log in to your account from https://qtalbums.albumworks.co - only then, if you see our logo next to album works logo, your licence is free. If you go to albumworks.co directly, you will be redirected to the paid version! Make sure that you bookmark the correct version to avoid confusion.
